Matthew Hughston, Peter Gasnier and Jason Packer from Bowen’s Customs and Logistics originally approached The Brand Bar wanting guidance on how they can refresh and modernise their brand and how they’re seen in the market.
A respected customs and logistics business in the industry with over 25 years experience, the company’s mission has always been to provide outstanding supply solutions to their clients and had primarily grown their business through word-of-mouth.
The Work:
After completing a "Discovery Session" with the team, we put together a full strategic marketing plan on how they could reach their marketing objectives. An achievable roadmap across a calendar year was implemented to guide their marketing activity which included a slow organic approach to build their brand over time including,

Since working with Matt, Peter, Jase and the Bowen’s team we’ve been able to completely overhaul their look and feel and they recently added one of the world’s biggest retailers to their books who sighted they found Bowen’s through a simple Google search.
Branding:
We modernised and tweaked the existing logo and provided full brand guidelines and applied the new branding across their stationery assets like business cards, letterheads and email signatures; we even created an animation of their logo with a GIF using the new logo to add more dimension to their branding.
Website:
Providing a clean simple modern site with clear CTA was the main objective of the new website build. Taking into consideration current trends and competitor websites we were able to write and build a site that consolidated the wealth of information that was on the existing site and produce a website that was visually appealing and had a clear CTA and had opportunity to rank on Google with a SEO strategy post-launch.
Content:
From here we were able to create a hit list for the photography and videography we needed to flesh out the rest of the website and utilising the photography arm of the business we did a photo shoot collecting content for both the new website and social media platforms ongoing post-website launch.

Ongoing Social Management:
Post website-launch we now implement ongoing organic social media management, a regular monthly newsletter and blogs to build awareness of Bowen’s Customs and Logistics and can’t wait to share what’s next with this great Australian business.
